Filling the Guru Rinpoche Statue
at
the Great Stupa site in Bendigo
Day 1 - 11 April 2007

The Guru Rinpoche statue is upright during the consecration ceremony, attended by the Sera Je monks and members of the Buddhist community of the Atisha Centre.

The Guru Rinpoche was turned upside down at the end of the consecration ceremony by a crane, ready to be filled with blessed texts, images and other objects. The filling process continued for another ten days.
