Filling the Guru Rinpoche Statue at Bendigo

Day 1 - 11 April 2007 (continued)

Monks from Sera Je monastery and those present commence filling the statue with Buddhist texts.








Day 2 - 14 April 2007

Centre members and friends Genevieve, Jocelyn, Ajeet, Adam, Vanessa, Rani and others participate in filling the statue with texts and images.



Lama Khedrup from Gyuto Monastery was in charge of the statue filling.









The statue is half full after four days work.


Day 3 - 21 April 2007





The statue is nearly full after ten days' work.


Lama Khedrup and Ajeet after a great experience participating in the consecration of Australia's largest Guru Rinpoche statue.
